The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in El Cajon. As an Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move, push, and transport materials, including rocks and debris. Your expertise in operating equipment will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of the quarry.

responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Work in all areas of the plant as needed
• Perform daily walk around inspection of equipment and fill out inspection form
• Operate various types of equipment
• Fuel and lube equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of heavy equipment operation experience (required)
• Experience in either the construction or mining industry (preferred)
• Must be able to carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to climb ladder and move around equipment
