Superior Ready Mix is currently seeking a seasoned Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems including motors, power distribution, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), relays, electrical control systems, and human-machine interfaces (HMIs).

responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, power distribution, and lighting systems at our concrete plants, asphalt plants, rock quarries, and offices.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate electrical and network testing devices.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical components, equipment, and machinery.
• Maintain and repair motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), generators, transformers, and electrical control systems.
• Adhere to all Superior Ready Mix, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
• Conduct detailed inspections of electrical process issues and present problem-solving strategies.
• Train team members on the safe use of electrical components.
• Participate in safety meetings and provide suggestions for improving safety measures.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Industrial Electrician.
• Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proven experience with motors, power distribution, PLCs, relays, electrical controls, and HMIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and computer skills.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
• Working knowledge of safety protocols, legal regulations, and guidelines in the electrical field.
• Experience programming Ignition Software and working with SQL preferred.
• Experience in the construction materials production industry preferred.
